With curious minds
Up to Something is an architectural practice that explores with curiosity and designs with intent.
At our core, we’re curious minds, always asking, wandering and discovering new possibilities. We see design as a journey, not a formula; a process shaped by people, place and imagination. Every project is an opportunity to learn, to experiment and to create something meaningful.
At Up to Something, we combine curiosity with craft, intuition with intention, and creativity with care.
The result is architecture that feels alive, thoughtful, joyful and deeply connected to how people live. Always exploring, always creating, always
up to something.
About Us
Practicing across Melbourne & Tasmania, Up to Something is founded by Keith Westbrook & Maddie Sewall. Expanding on established careers at acclaimed architecture practices Cumulus and Breathe (respectively), Keith & Maddie bring decades of combined experience, practice leadership and sustainability expertise together in their emerging studio.
We focus on residential and small commercial projects and welcome conversations about new opportunities. Contact us to discuss your project or to see a full portfolio of our work.
Alongside architectural practice, Keith and Maddie run Cloudstone AiR at their property outside of Hobart in the hills of Mangalore; an artist residency dedicated to nurturing creative practice and interdisciplinary exchange.
